Associated Seafoods is the parent company of two leading fish and seafood producers, Lossie Seafoods and Moray Seafoods, located in Buckie. Our commitment is to procure, process, and deliver the finest selection of smoked salmon and scampi core products to global customers.
In 2022, R & R Spinks of Arbroath, now operating as Dawnfresh, joined the ASL group. It currently operates under the Lossie Seafoods banner, specializing in salmon products, alongside crafting small-batch, hand-prepared deli-style fish products, and marinades under the Silvertide brand.
The Past:
Associated Seafoods, established in 2010, was the union of two esteemed Scottish food industry leaders – Lossie Seafoods, specializing in smoked fish since 1913, and Moray Seafoods, a pioneer in shellfish production since 1958. Their rich traditions form the foundation of the values held by Associated Seafoods today.
The Present:
As a leading Scottish seafood processor, Associated Seafoods focuses on Scottish Smoked Salmon and Langoustine Scampi Cores. Our modern facilities in Buckie adhere to the highest food standards, employing a skilled team to carry out many processes by hand. With a commitment to seafood culture and top-notch raw materials, we consistently deliver superior products to global food distributors and supermarkets.
The Future:
In March 2022, we acquired the Arbroath fish processing facility, formerly RR. Spink & Sons, expanding our production capability significantly. This move, along with our Buckie site, solidifies our position as key suppliers to Marks & Spencer. We cherish the fishing heritage in our local communities, considering it intrinsic to our current and future success.
