Riverence Group has named Brandon Gottsacker as its new CEO, succeeding Rob Young, who served in the position since 2014. Gottsacker, a member of the Riverence board of directors since 2020, brings over twelve years of experience in aquaculture, notably leading Superior Fresh, a land-based salmon farm in Wisconsin, USA.
Gottsacker expressed excitement about his new role, emphasizing Riverence's commitment to responsible aquaculture. Riverence operates six grow-out farms primarily raising steelhead and golden rainbow trout, along with eight grow-out farms under Riverence Provisions focusing on rainbow trout. The company's production exceeds 22 million pounds annually and employs over 300 team members.
FiiZK Names Jan Erik Kvingedal as CEO
Trondheim-based aquaculture development company FiiZK has appointed Jan Erik Kvingedal as its new CEO. Kvingedal brings extensive industry expertise, having previously worked as the supply chain director for ScaleAQ, factory director for Mowi, and production director at BEWI Group.
FiiZK Chair Ole Falk Hansen praised Kvingedal's appointment, highlighting the company's track record of delivering closed cages and successful production cycles. Kvingedal's leadership is expected to further enhance FiiZK's development and growth.

Sanchez's transition to full-time consulting in 2023 has enabled her to innovate sales strategies and sustainability efforts, aiming to disrupt traditional business models and drive positive change in the seafood industry.
