In a groundbreaking collaboration, Ocean on Land Technology and Northbay Innovations have joined forces to integrate their respective lobster aquaculture technologies, the Aquahive and Cube systems.
The Aquahive system, renowned for enhancing juvenile lobster survival rates within compact units, complements the Cube system, which has facilitated the successful restocking of juvenile lobsters into UK coastal waters, aiming to introduce 1 million juveniles annually.
Giles Cadman, the visionary behind Ocean on Land Technology, expressed enthusiasm for offering customers the Aquahive and the Cube, emphasizing the shared commitment to rejuvenating coastal ecosystems.
Kenneth Norton, CEO of Northbay Innovations, underscored the strategic alignment between the two companies, emphasizing the transformative potential of merging the Aquahive's efficiency with the Cube's restoration capabilities.
As this innovative partnership commences, Ocean on Land Technology and Northbay Innovations extend appreciation to Dennis Gowland, the original chief designer of the Aquahive, for his invaluable contributions and wish him well in his retirement.
