Mission Kitchen Unveils Tomorrow's Table Symposium: "The Future of Fish" Symposium
London-based culinary startup hub, Mission Kitchen, has announced an immersive full-day symposium as part of its Tomorrow's Table event series, focusing on the evolving landscape of the seafood industry. Scheduled for May 23, 2024, the symposium aims to address pressing concerns surrounding seafood sustainability amidst declining wild fish populations.
Titled "The Future of Fish," the event will convene industry leaders and experts for in-depth discussions on emerging trends, challenges, and innovations shaping the sector's trajectory. Attendees can expect engaging panel sessions, interactive workshops, culinary demonstrations, and tastings showcasing oceanic delights and plant-based alternatives.
Featuring a diverse lineup of speakers, sessions will explore topics such as sustainable seafood sourcing and production, with insights from industry heavyweights including Offshore Shellfish and the SEA Alliance. Additionally, pioneers in alternative seafood solutions, like Pacifico Biolabs, will provide insights into the future of seafood innovation.
Highlighting the event will be a spotlight on influential women in the industry, including Elaine Lorys, the UK's pioneering master female fishmonger.
