The Global Seafood Alliance (GSA) has revealed the outline of its eagerly awaited programme for the 2024 Responsible Seafood Summit, scheduled for October in St Andrews, Scotland. Co-hosted by Seafood Scotland, the Summit will offer 24 hours of educational content delivered by over 40 industry experts. Sessions will cover a range of topics crucial to the seafood industry, including the future of salmon production, fishing crew welfare, and advancements in aquaculture feeds. The event will also feature afternoon workshops focusing on fisheries management and the global shrimp market.
Devan Meserve, GSA's Vice President of Marketing and Communications, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming event, stating, "The content being developed promises a valuable experience for our responsible seafood community in the picturesque setting of St Andrews."
