Seafood Expo Asia to Return to Singapore in September

The upcoming Seafood Expo Asia, scheduled from 4 to 6 September this year, is poised to capitalize on the success it achieved following its relocation to Singapore.

Seafood Expo Asia's 2023 edition, held at Singapore’s Sands Expo and Convention Centre following its move from Hong Kong, expanded by 86 percent in size, hosting 362 exhibitors from 41 countries.
In 2024, the event will feature companies from Australia, Canada, Chile, China, France, India, Italy, Malaysia, Netherlands, Norway, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, and Vietnam. New participants include Azerbaijan, Denmark, Qatar, and Venezuela, along with national pavilions from Japan and Morocco.
The 12th edition promises innovative products, seafood tastings, culinary demonstrations, and educational sessions on industry trends, sustainability, and market dynamics, according to Diversified Communications, organizers of Seafood Expo Asia, Seafood Expo North America, and Seafood Expo Global.
“Last year’s success in Singapore underscores the strong global demand from seafood suppliers and processing companies to engage and establish relationships in Asia,” remarked Wynter Courmont, Vice President of Seafood at Diversified. “This year’s expo will offer a rich program of events, features, and educational opportunities addressing pertinent issues in the Asian seafood industry.”
Participating companies include AquaChile, Blumar, Caleta Bay, Contimax, Corporacion Lamar, Ferme Marine de Mahebourg, Gadre Marine Export, Godaco Seafood, Gumusdoga, Haspac Tuna, HQM SU URUNLERI SANAYI, Huitres Marennes D’Oleron, Nordic Kingfish, North Sea Seafood, Pacific Urchin Harvesters Association, Parcs Saint Kerber, Sincere Food Investment, Ulka Seafoods, Vinh Hoan Corporation, Zalmhuys Group, and more. Processing equipment exhibitors such as BAADER ASIA PTE. LTD., FrostiX, GB Bernucci, Guy Cotten SAS, Moon Environment Technology, Nantong Worldbase Imp. & Exp. Co., Ltd., and Square Technology Group Co. LTD. will also showcase their offerings, alongside newcomers Alpha Aqua A/S, Biolan Asia, D&D Electronics, GUNZE LIMITED, Nilkamal Limited, Plastic Film, and Jaw Feng Machinery.
The expo serves as a key platform for global seafood suppliers and Asian market buyers to engage directly and source a wide array of seafood, processing equipment, and services. Attendees span various sectors including airlines, cruise lines, distributors, caterers, hotels, importers, processors, restaurants, supermarkets, and wholesalers.
