"Langley Foods Expands into Consumer Packaged Goods and Beverage Sectors, Maintains Ties with Seafood Industry"
Langley Foods, originally focused on seafood, is broadening its scope to include various consumer packaged goods (CPG) and beverage industries while continuing its commitment to sustainable practices. Charlotte Langley, the founder, aims to collaborate with fisheries, canneries, and certification bodies to develop premium, sustainably sourced products.
"We're dedicated to curating a diverse portfolio that upholds our standards of quality, sustainability, and culinary innovation. Our roots in the seafood industry provide a strong foundation for broader collaborations across the entire food and beverage landscape," Langley stated.
Motivated by a passion for supporting environmentally conscious startups in the food and beverage sectors, Langley launched Langley Foods to empower like-minded entrepreneurs.
"Langley Foods represents my vision to promote local, sustainable sourcing while elevating fellow entrepreneurs committed to ethical practices and environmental stewardship," she explained.
Having played a pivotal role in establishing Scout Canning, Langley brings expertise in community engagement and strategic partnerships to her new venture. She recognizes the importance of leveraging trends, such as the rise of canned seafood on platforms like TikTok during the pandemic, to drive marketing initiatives.
"While at Scout Canning, we embraced the canned seafood movement, capitalizing on its popularity on social media platforms. Through Langley Foods, I aim to continue fostering innovative branding strategies that prioritize sustainability and nutrition," Langley emphasized.
With a focus on trend monitoring and sustainable practices, Langley Foods seeks to support Canadian businesses in enhancing their branding efforts within the food and beverage industries.
