In a recent press release, Seafarms Group Limited announced the appointment of Peter Fraser as the new CEO of Project Sea Dragon, succeeding former CEO Rod Dyer, who will continue as a non-executive director at Seafarms. Fraser, who previously served as Project Sea Dragon's commercial director and Seafarms' international business advisor since 2015, brings extensive experience to his new role. Prior to this, Fraser held positions as the managing director of Ocean and Earth Seafoods and as the commercial director for the National Prawn Company of Saudi Arabia (NAQUA) from 2005 to 2011. His annual base salary will be AUD 850,000 (USD 554,000, EUR 512,000).

In related news, Siggi Olason, former managing director of Marel and CEO of Green Fuel, has been appointed as the CEO of Optimar, a prominent fish-processing company based in Valderøya, Norway. Additionally, Craig Morris, CEO of Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers (GAPP), has announced his appointment to the board of directors for the Global Seafood Alliance. Morris brings over five years of experience with GAPP, having previously served as vice president of international marketing at the National Pork Board.
