Linde reaffirms its commitment to assisting seafood processors in optimizing their utilization of liquid nitrogen and/or liquid carbon dioxide for cryogenic freezing and chilling operations. Ahead of Seafood Processing North America, scheduled from Sunday, March 10th to Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, Linde Associate Director of Communications, Phil Davis, underscores the growing demand for cryogenic gases capable of individually quick freezing (IQF) among frozen seafood processors.
Davis highlights Linde's dedication to freezing or chilling seafood products efficiently and cost-effectively to desired target temperatures, aligning with the goals of its IQF industry partners. Linde's cryogenic systems, including the CRYOLINE UPF flighted freezer, are designed to handle various seafood products such as shrimp, scallops, oysters, clams, fish nuggets, and more, ensuring product integrity and fluidity.
Chris Johnson, Linde's Business Development Director, emphasizes the importance of proper freezing and chilling techniques in maintaining high-quality seafood products that meet consumer preferences. Linde's CRYOLINE UPF flighted freezer allows seafood processors to achieve optimal freezing results, preventing over- or under-freezing and ensuring free-flowing products for easier handling and packaging.
To cater to the specific needs of seafood industry customers, Linde conducts lab work to determine the ideal timing and equipment specifications for each product. Processors can choose from a range of options within Linde's IQF catalogue, including flat belt, flighted belt, rotary drum, or immersion systems.
In addition to showcasing its IQF offerings, Linde will also feature its CRYOLINE PB plate belt tunnel freezer and Linde Green nitrogen at Seafood Processing North America. The CRYOLINE PB plate belt tunnel freezer, powered by liquid nitrogen, offers versatility in handling a variety of products, while Linde Green nitrogen supports the carbon reduction plans of seafood processors, meeting their cryogenic freezing and chilling needs sustainably.
Attendees are invited to explore Linde's innovations at Booth #1465 during the event in March.
